About Us Information for MyBookkeepingManager

The purpose of this website is to provide a portal for the MyBookkeepingManager bookkeeping software tool.

The website provides information about the software and provides the facility to buy and then use online and/or download the software. Information describing the software is contained on the various web pages to try to enable visitors to make an accurate judgement as to whether the software is appropriate for them.

We appreciate that even though the software is comparatively cheap, it should still do what it claims to do, otherwise buying and using/downloading the product will just turn out to be a waste of time and money for people - and that's not what we want. We have spent lot of time developing the software and we want people to find it useful.

If you have any comments about MyBookkeepingManager we would love to hear them - good or bad! If you are a contractor working though a UK-registered limited company we would especially like to to hear from you. Please let us know if you find the product useful or not.

Over the coming years the software and website will be further developed to try to improve the usefulness they provide. If you have any suggestions, please let us know.

This website, and the MyBookkeepingManager application itself, were both designed by John Dixon (pictured left). He is a technical author and web developer, and has been playing around with PHP/MySQL-based web applications since about 2005. MyBookkeepingManager, which he developed in 2010, is based on another bookkeeping application, Earnings Tracker, which he developed in 2005. Both applications are very similar to each other, with MyBookkeepingManager being a bit beefier. Earnings Tracker isn't bad though, and you can read a review about it here.

We're hoping to release a new version of MyBookkeepingManager in the near future, but we haven't as yet decided exactly what will go in the new version. To be honest, it really depends on how much time we have available to work on the software. But as we haven't released anything for a while, we feel that it's about time we got something out the door.
